If you practice yoga in the southeastern US or simply want to add yet another yoga journal to your list, please check out yoga_yall. We'd love to have more input!

Hello everyone! I just found this community and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Yaro. I recently started trying to get back into shape. I've been doing yoga every day for about two weeks and I'm about to start doing aerobics as well (Yoga in the morning and aerobics in the afternoon).

I'm not very good at these intros so I guess I'll end here. :)

Whoo, I'm getting to love when I have a good workout!

47 total minutes cardio, 4.6 miles on treadmill, 3.2 on bike. 2nd time of leg presses on 160 lbs, and juiced up leg extensions weight too. And did the assisted chinups and pullups things, that I couldn't do AT ALL 3 months ago. I feel sooooooo good!

Add to that a fab yoga session last night, and I feel the new year is going well!

Current Mood: energetic energetic

OK, what do you think of this? A girl at the gym was telling me that she spends a lot of time at her PC, like I do. So she got rid of her office chair, and now uses one of those big exercise balls a s achair. She says it improves her posture, plus she has to engage her core muscles while sitting. It's an interesting idea.

These came recommended in a yoga journal I subscribed to:

Yoga for Every Body

The reviews are mostly good, seems nicely suited for beginners.

Ashtanga Yoga - An Active Practice, Beginners Workout

This one cracked me up, but the review is interesting:

MTV Yoga - yes, that's M.T.V. YOGA

I've been asked if anyone can recommend "good ...easy...beginner yoga vids?"

If you have any suggestions, that would help!
